The Jaguars suffered the second loss of the season in the first in their first district playoff game. They started out evenly with the Falcons, then fell behind in the first half before scoring their first points on a field goal with 7 seconds left in the first half. They battled back in the second half to tie the game in the fourth quarter. The Falcons went up on a long pass and run in the fourth quarter. The Jaguars mounted a drive in the final minutes, it came down to a final play with seoncds to go, but they were unable to score.
