Mike Besler Recognized by the GKCFCA

Mike Besler was named to the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association Scholar Athlete team. The top 11 players on the KS side to receive $1,000.00 scholarship. Mike is the 1st player in Jaguars program history to be recognized by our coaches association as a Scholar Athlete.

Four Football Jaguars signed letters of intent to play at the next level. Josh Copp, Aaron Ashley, Adam Steele and Dan Boan all were honored with a ceremony recognizing their acheivement.

Josh Copp Named to the KC Star's All-Metro Defense Team
December 24, 2007
The Star released it's All-Metro Teams over the weekend. Josh Copp was named to the First Team! Congratulations Josh!
A number of other Jaguars were named to the Second Team and Honorable Mention, including Aaron Ashley, Mike Besler, Nick Fleer and Dan Boan.
Also the Jaguars were ranked #2 All-Metro, second only to Rockhurst.

Metro Sports recognized what Jaguar fans already knew and named Coach Wright the Metro Sports Coach of the Year at the Simone Awards Presentation Tuesday.

Aaron Ashley Nominated for 1st Otis Taylor Award
December 3, 2007
The 1st Otis Taylor Award presented by the KC Auto Auction will be given to the tight end/wide receiver in the metro area. Otis Taylor and his family gave their blessing to the Simone-Fontana Foundation to create the Award. Our own Aaron Ashley was one of only four wide receivers to be nominated in the entire KC metro area.
