Jaguars advance to 2-0

Jaguars 21 - Redskins 19

The Jaguars improved their season record to 2-0 with a win in Liberal over the Redskins. The team fought their way through a tough game against a good team. The first quarter ended without a score by either team. The Redskins scored first, early in the second quarter, but the Jaguars came right back to tie the game on a score setup by an interception. For the second week in a row the Jaguars returned a kick for a score. The Jaguars maintained and held the lead, battling right up to the end of the game. Photos are available here .
