Jaguars Win Game #1

Jaguars 28 - Spartans 10

The Jaguars won their first game with a strong showing by both defense and offense. It was an exciting game with lots of turnovers and a second half kick return for a touchdown. Photos are available here .

Not only did they win, but a photo from the game ran on the front page of the Kansas City Star's Friday edition with an article about the start of the high school football season! The Jaguars appeared in numerous articles in the paper, including this one covering the start of high school football in general, this one in the High School Sports section, and this one covering the Emporia game, along with lots of photos.
