The Jags started the game competitive. They fell behind by two scores, then fought back to tie the game. After falling behind again, then hung in there and scored at the end of the first half, closing the Saints lead to one score. In the second half the Jags and Saints traded quick scores before the Saints pulled away and the Jags were unable to catch them.
