Jaguars over Bishop Miege Stags, September 22 The Jaguars came back from a disappointing defeat last week to beat the Bishop Miege Stags in a game with lots of offense. The Jags came out quick to take the lead scoring on their first possession. They displayed the ability to quickly adjust to a potent Miege running game, shut that down and once again, turned up the defense in the final quarter to secure the win, 34 - 20.. |
Jaguars come up short against the BVNW Huskies, September 15 The Jaguars played a very physical game against the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies. The game was competitive until a late hit by the Huskies took out the Jaguar quarterback with a concussion. The Jags regrouped with an effective offense but were unable to secure the win. |
Jaguars over Liberal Redskins in home opener, September 8 The Liberal Redskins came to Overland Park this year and put up a tremendous rushing game. The Jaguars countered with a fast paced passing and rushing combination that resulted in a 52 - 33 victory in front of the Homecoming crowd. |
Jaguars win 2006 opener in Emporia, September 1 The Jaguars traveled to Emporia, KS for their season opener. After a slow start, the team fought their way to a victory. Some long pass plays, and the defense coming through in the fourth quarter to recover a fumble and stop the Emporia offense led to the first Jaguar victory of the season. |

Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser Saturday, August 19th, from 7:30-10:00pm, the Red Zone HELD it's annual Silent Auction, Poker Tournament and Kickball Tournament. All proceeds benefit the players during the upcoming football season. This event is open to the BVW community, family, alumni, and friends. |
District fields are being converted to artificial turf This will be the first year Blue Valley football games will be played on artificial turf. Over the summer, all game fields and practice fields were converted from grass to turf. |
